Lava Flow Recipe
It’s Sunday Funday! So I figured this yummy Lava Flow post would be fitting.
The fact that it has taken me literally an entire month to get this post up is a little bit ridiculous. Hey, better late than never though right?!
For the 4th of July I spent the weekend at Cedar Creek Lake and we made these cute lil drinks! (Shoutout to Sav for finding the recipe!) We were feelin’ festive!
What you’ll need:
Food coloring (if you want to make it red, white, and blue like we did)
What you’ll do:
First, blend the rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and banana with crushed ice to form a smooth paste. Next we added blue food coloring to the mix and blended that together so we could achieve the red, white, and blue look.
We poured the strawberry puree into the glass first, followed by the blended mix, then topped it with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry to add to the cuteness! Not only was it pretty, it tasted so good too! You should definitely try it if you’ve been looking for a new drink recipe to test out!
Obviously 4th of July is over but I still am so obsessed with this “Firecracker” one piece. Plus, it’s on sale right now for just $20! This bag is from Francesca’s and so adorable. Everyone knows my pom pom obsession is real.
I conducted a party foul and forgot to wear sunscreen (ya girl burns like no other! *tears*) We went on the jet skis this day and only the top of my legs got burnt from sitting there for so long. For proof, look at the picture below. Literally only from my knees up was burnt like no other. Talk about awful tan lines.
(And wow I never realized how much my ombre had grown out until I saw this picture haha, cheers to being a full blondie now!)
I got this American flag float here for $30!
Thanks for reading even though it took me basically ten years to get it up haha. Hope y’all have a good Sunday Funday!
