My Favorite Makeup Products

I realized the other day that I have never done an official post covering all of my favorite makeup products on the blog. So we’re here to fix that today! I’ve learned a lot over the years as a girl who has tried a countless amount of products in hopes of finding the ones I truly love. I seriously have an entire bin in my bathroom full of products that I bought, hated, and never used again. I’ll just call it the box of disappointment (and a few paychecks!) Here’s my list of the products that I have repurchased time and time again and have become apart of my official makeup routine:

Moisturizer:

I use the GlamGlow Thirsty Mud hydrating Mask everyday as my moisturizer. If you have dry skin this is amazing and allows your makeup to go on that much smoother.

Primer: 

Soap & Glory One Heck of A Blot Primer has fixed the issue I was having with makeup settling into my smile lines throughout the day. I absolutely love this stuff and you can get it at Target or Ulta.

Foundation:

I use the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. It is a little pricier but so worth it. I can literally sleep in that makeup and wake up and it’s still perfect. If I have a tan I use the color “Wheat”, but if I’m channeling my natural pale self I use the shade “Warm Vanilla.”

Concealer: 

My all time favorite concealer is the Tarte Shape Tape. It is amazing and has great coverage, I really don’t think I’ll ever try another concealer again after using this one!

Translucent powder:

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder has changed my life. I put this on with a beauty blender wherever I put my concealer to set it, let it sit for five minutes or so, then brush the excess off with a fluffy brush. I don’t know what it is but this stuff just makes everything look that much better. You NEED. (You can also get the smaller size, like I have, at Sephora for cheaper. Their website is down and wouldn’t let me link it though.)

Powder:

I use the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless powder all over my face after my foundation. Then I go in with the concealer and all the other steps over it.

Bronzer:

I use the NYX Wonder Stick (the bronzer side only) and blend that in with a beauty blender, then go in with Hoola Bronzer to really set it in place and make it even darker.

Blush:  

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in the color “Paaarty”

Highlight:

BECCA Highlighter in the color “Champagne Pop” (It’s SO pretty!)

Setting Spray:

After that long process listed above, I set everything with my favorite Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This is the one product that has always been a constant that I’ve never strayed away from.

When it comes to the eyes I kind of change those products up day to day depending on what look or palette I’m going for. What I listed though is my main routine when it comes to skin products. I feel like I have finally found a process that I love and totally recommend these products to everyone! 🙂
