Sauce Pizza & Wine Experience
I’m currently eating my left over pizza from my dinner last night at Sauce Pizza & Wine so I thought this would be the perfect time to write this post! If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw my stories featuring a sneak peek into what I ordered. I’m not exaggerating when I say everything there was AMAZING. New favorite place for sure.
To say I stuffed my face last night would definitely be an understatement. I was in a mega food coma for the rest of the night – in a good way! Here’s what I had:
Caprese Bruschetta
This is fresh mozzarella, tomatos, basil pesto & balsamic glaze. YUM!
Gluten Free Mac ‘N Cheese
Y’all know I’ve tried my fair share of gluten free pasta over the years and this way by far the best I’ve ever tried! I loved their noodles and you can even add sausage or meatballs to it if you’d like! I kept it plain and simple though and it was amazing! My friend tried the regular Mac ‘N Cheese and she raved about it as well. They definitely get a 10/10 in the macaroni department!
Gluten Free Sausage & Carmalized Onion Pizza
The pizza I ordered was the gluten free sausage & caramelized onion. They use the CauliPower GF crust and it was so good! You can even find it at the grocery store to make your own!
Pizza Cookie
Listen to how amazing this sounds: a half-baked triple chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoop of gelato. I didn’t try the cookie part but I did eat the gelato that comes on top. They have different flavors but I went with the chocolate gelato and it was the perfect ending to our meal!
Drinky Drank
With dinner I had a glass of their Riesling White Wine. They have a great list to choose from though if you’re not a fan of white.
Overall I had the best experience and can’t wait to go back soon. If we’re being honest I’m even craving that Mac ‘N Cheese for dinner again tonight, we’ll see if I go get it or not 😉 They have 3 locations here in DFW. Their Dallas location is where I went and the most recent to open! The other 2 are located in Irving and Prosper.
